Corn Pops Snack!
Ingredients
4 cups KELLOGG'S® CORN POPS® cereal
3 cups popped pop corn
1/2 cup peanuts (optional)
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
3 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/2 cup peanut butter morsels
Directions
1. In large mixing bowl, combine cereal, popped corn and peanuts; set aside.
2. Measure remaining ingredients into 4-cup microwavable glass measure; mix
until combined. Microwave on HIGH 4 minutes, stirring until smooth. Pour hot
syrup mixture over cereal mixture, gently stirring and tossing until evenly
combined.
3. microwave cereal mixture 2 minutes longer on HIGH, stirring after 1
minute. Spread hot mixture on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight
container.
Variations: Chocolate - Use 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels in place of
the peanut butter morsels. Butterscotch - Use 1/2 cup butterscotch morsels in
place of the peanut butter morsels.
