Want to learn more about Central Park? Discover the Park's history, ecology and design on free, volunteer-led walking tours sponsored by the Central Park Conservancy.
All walking tours are free and take place rain or shine except in extreme weather conditions. No reservations are required. Call 212-360-2726 Tuesday through Saturday for additional information.
For a nominal fee, we provide private tours for groups of 10-25. For all groups, a $50.00 deposit is required to guarantee the date and time of the tour. The deposit is non-refundable and may be applied to the cost of the tour. Additionally, one month's notice is required to book a group tour. During our year-round tour season, the Central Park Conservancy offers at least eight different walking tours that show visitors several areas of Central Park.
