Dear my friends,
On "PA_037_September Rain" & "PA_038_September Mist":
When I painted those works in N.Y.C. in September 2003, I was imaging "September Rain and Mist" in Central Park. Because I painted them at my Fifth Avenue's atelier/studio which is located just opposite Central Park and I was in Manhattan when it was happpened in September 2001. I still remember, or I never forget that morning which was such a beautiful weather and blue sky. Do you realize that blue sky sometimes makes me feel blue?
Do you remember all the white dust falling down from the Twin Towers when it happened? Many people who were there were covered by this white powders (dust) from the Towers. Why rain should not be A white then, why mist should not be A white. Imagine the whole Central Park "was" covered by this white dust from the Twin Towers THAT afternoon... It would had looked like Central Park covered by show in September.
I hate to see the whole Central Park covered by snow in Winter. It is too beautiful to ignore, and I am too innocent to forget.
